Translating face to face while travelling
When you and the person in front of you don’t share a language, SayFlick’s interpreter turns your phone into a simple two-way translator.
How to use it
- Open the interpreter and set your language and theirs.
- Tap Speak on your side and talk. They see and can hear the translation.
- They tap their side and answer in their language.
Two useful modes
- Face to face: flips the other person’s half of the screen so it reads the right way up when the phone lies on the table between you.
- Hands-free: after each translation, SayFlick listens for the reply automatically.
Before you go
SayFlick needs an internet connection to translate. Learn a few key phrases too — the phrase packs are a good start for Urdu and Arabic.
Tips
Keep sentences short, speak one at a time, and point at things — a translation app works best alongside gestures and a smile.
