Talking with workers and customers who speak another language
Shops, workshops and building sites often run in several languages at once. A supervisor speaks Arabic, a worker speaks Urdu, a customer speaks English. SayFlick won’t replace a professional translator, but it helps with the everyday messages in between.
Everyday uses
- Instructions. Type or say the instruction in your language and send the translation on WhatsApp.
- Voice notes from staff or suppliers. The voice-note translator turns a voice note into text in your language, on your phone — the recording isn’t uploaded.
- At the counter. The interpreter lets you and a customer take turns speaking, each in your own language.
Keep it simple
Machine translation handles short, plain sentences best. “The delivery is tomorrow at 9” translates well; long sentences full of slang or idioms often don’t. When something matters, ask the other person to repeat it back.
When to use a professional
Contracts, medical or legal matters and anything where a mistake is costly need a qualified human translator. SayFlick is for quick, everyday communication.
